Sagging curtains are not a sight to behold, so make sure that your curtain rod can support you curtain. Heavier curtains require strong and more solid curtain rods. Brackets and supporting devices should be used.
Your budget
The more sophisticated the curtain rod design, the more expensive it will be, more so if they are made from high-quality materials. However, this does not necessarily mean that you will purge your bank account just to decorate your house. You can buy cheaper ones that look nice and good.
