Interior Small Apartment Ideas

With today’s advent of apartment and condo living, we’re forced to make do with what little space we have. There are lots of interior small apartment or condominium ideas that can help you design and arrange the small space so that it will make so inviting and big.

So, here are some tips on how to enjoy and maximize the use of the little space that we have:

  • Use the space expressly for a single purpose. Choose your priority and plan for that alone. Take note that a small spaceĀ  can not handle heavy traffic flow.
  • Keep the decoration simple so as not to suffocate the small space.
  • A strong, uncomplicated focal point is recommended so that the attention will be drawn to it rather than on the entire small space.
  • Have a specific theme or look for the space. For example, use material (all wicker), shapes (many circles) or color (shades of white).
  • Vertical surfaces is a must for small spaces. Examples are training a vine over a trellis, installing a small waterspout on a wall, or twisting a cloud of tiny paper lanterns up a vintage pole.
    lamp.
  • Insert two large coat hooks in an outside brick wall. Buy two inexpensive folding wooden chairs and a small wooden side table. Arrange 3 tall potted plants against one wall of the space. Hang the chairs on the hooks when not in use.

Whatever you decide, plan it well and enjoy your little space to the max.
