Carpets have always added great value to our home aesthetically. However, there is more to carpets that we should know. There are two types of carpeting, the indoor carpets and the outdoor carpets but there are carpets that are versatile in the sense that they can be used both indoors and outdoors. Saxony carpets Saxony carpets are available in two types, namely, cut pile and textured. While cut pile Saxony carpets are ideal for a traditional look, textured Saxony carpets can be perfect for a trendy look. These carpets are also good at absorbing footprints and thus can be used in living rooms, recreation rooms. Another durable carpet is the friege carpet. This type of carpet is popular for their tight texture and wide range of colors and style. Friege carpets add a jazzy appeal to the room and are good for rooms welcoming frequent visitors.

Before you rush to your nearest home depot store to buy your carpet, you have to take into consideration the following things before you finally decide what type of carpet to buy. First is to determine the density of the carpet because the denser the carpet, the longer it will last. You can push your finger through the carpet to its backing to figure out its density. It is necessary that the material of the carpet is stain and UV resistant. This will allow the carpet to retain its color and shine longer. The quality of the carpet is largely dependent on its moisture resistance capacity. Check whether the carpet has a marine backing to ensure the same. Different economy grades of carpets are available depending on the foot traffic density and areas in which they are going to be used. Thus, select your carpet accordingly. The humidity and moisture level of the area need to be considered while choosing a carpet for the concerned area.
