Table Linen Care Instructions
1. Make sure your washer and dryer are in good working order with no rough areas that might snag fabric.
2. All linens should be free of excess food. Shake to remove foreign debris.
3. Wash dark colors separately.
4. Wash like fibers together. Do not mix Polyester with Poly/Cotton Blends, etc.
5. Do not overload washer or dryer.
6. Gradually cool linens in dryer to avoid temperature shock and excessive wrinkling.
7. Fold immediately after taking out of dryer.
8. Read carefully the instructions guide and follow it. There are different care and washing instructions for different types of fabrics.
- For Ashford, Blends, Crushed Velour, Embroidered Organza, Woven Polyester Solids, Suede:
- Warm water. Rinse on cool/permanent press style.
- Use mild detergent only. No alkalis.
- No bleach needed, even for whites.
- Tumble dry, low heat with down cycle.
- Remove promptly from dryer. Don’t over dry.
- For Poly/Cotton Prints, Satin, Spandex, Velvet, Burlap, Hemp:
- Cool water wash. Rinse on cool/ permanent press cycle.
- Use mild detergent. No alkalis.
- No bleach needed, even for whites.
- Tumble dry, low heat with down cycle.
- Remove promptly from dryer. Don’t over dry.
- For Spun Polyester Solids, Damask (Victorian Rose and Whisper), Devon:
- Warm to hot water wash ( less than 140°).
- Use gradual cool-down or split rinse.
- Use bleach with caution; it can cause fading or color change.
- Use mild detergent only. No alkalis.
- Avoid fabric softeners.
- Keep extraction time short (30-60 seconds) to minimize wrinkles.
- Do not overload dryer.
- Drying temperature should not exceed 140°.
- To avoid wrinkles, remove while still slightly damp and warm. Pat flat and fold promptly.
