Although the bathroom is the smallest room in the house, there is nothing more tiresome than cleaning it. Here is a guide on how to clean your bathroom effectively.

The first thing to is to assemble all the cleaning agents and materials. Make sure that you have your all purpose cleaner, window and mirror cleaner, toilet brush and tile brush, rags, mops and garbage bag. This way you don’t waste your time in looking for them later on.

Second is to see that everything is in their proper places. Sometimes, things that belong to other rooms manage to get into the bathroom. Things like toys, books, magazines and other things that can be damaged by water should be all stay outside of the bathroom. Dirty towels and clothes should go into the laundry hamper, empty bottles and containers should be thrown away and toiletries should be in their respective holders as well as the bottles in the medicine cabinet.

Next is to put on your rubber gloves and take out the cleanser and disinfectant. Wearing rubber gloves is important because this way, you will not be hesitant in tackling that strange goo in the corner and also your skin won’t come in contact with the chemicals you will be using. After your gloves are in place, it’s time to spray and scrub. It is recommended that you let the cleanser soak for a while before scrubbing them. This way, the cleanser will have the time to do their job and by the time you will do the scrubbing, it won’t be hard.

While the cleanser is doing its job, you can wipe down the mirror. Just mix vinegar with a little water and wipe away. The streaks will come off like magic. You can use a crumpled newspaper to make the mirror shine. After doing this, it’s time to get back to your scrubbing. The stains will come off no problem by this time. Rinse everything off carefully and thoroughly. Mop after wards. Be sure to let everyone know that you have cleaned the bathroom so that they won’t use the facilities until everything has dried up.

The last but not the least step is to replenish your cleaning materials. This way, you will be ready for the next cleaning session.
