The Unique and Exotic Look of Lava Lamps

Lava lamps are unique when it comes to providing light to any room because of their shape, type of light and mostly, their design. Lava lamps are made of a cone-shaped base which houses the light bulb. The light bulb heats up a glass container which is teardrop-shaped. Inside this teardrop-shaped container is the “lava”. The lava is made up of a mixture of paraffin wax, mineral oil, and carbon tetrachloride. When this mixture is heated, it will float in the alcohol solution which imitates lava. When lava lamps are turned off, the lava will sink back to the bottom and will harden.
