Cuddling up with a quilt is one of life’s simple pleasures. A good book, a cup of hot chocolate, a roaring fire- the picture just is not complete without a comfy quilt to wrap yourself in. But quilts can be so much more. Including custom quilts as part of your home decor is one way to add warmth to your home. In addition to the obvious benefits of color and pattern, quilted fabric accessories add comfort to the rooms.
Most homes today have high ceilings in the living room which makes the home feel spacious but sometimes leave it feeling a little cold too. It can also be hard to find artwork that is big enough to balance the big walls and make the space feel welcoming and homey. An oversized quilt can be the answer. With its considerable size, it can fill a blank wall as well as giving a splash of color to the room. An added bonus with using quilts is that it is much cheaper compared to the prize of a painting of equal size.

Bathrooms are probably the easiest room in your house to decorate and yet, they are sometimes overlooked. Our bathrooms often times offer us retreat from the hustle and bustle in our lives and so it will be important to decorate it to provide us a sanctuary albeit for a short while. Here are some decorating ideas for your bathroom.
Mirrors are wonderful additions for your bathroom. They add depth and makes the room seemed bigger especially if you have a small bathroom. A mirrored medicinal cabinet is an excellent choice for some bathrooms. They are multi-functional- they help store your bathroom necessities and can also check the back of your hairstyle will the hinged doors of the mirrored cabinet. If you already have ample storage, you can pick up a beautiful mirror and hang it above the sink. It can be the centerpiece of your entire bathroom if it has the right frame. Oval mirrors look lovely over pedestal sinks. You may want or already have a mirror that practically takes up an entire wall. These mirrors can really open up the space of your bathroom. To make them a bit more interesting, you can buy a window-frosting kit and stencil some designs onto your mirror. You can even make up your own design to fit whatever motif you want for your bathroom.

Before you rush to your nearest home furnishing store to buy your kitchen cabinet, take the time to know more about kitchen cabinets so that you will be satisfied by the one that you decided to buy. You can be sure that the cabinet will serve your purpose well.
The first step is to set your budget because the cabinets will account for 40-50% of the kitchen remodeling project that you so wanted to do. But don’t let your budget scare you off from selecting which item you will finally buy. The cabinets you select will set the tone of your new kitchen or bathroom and play a major role in transforming your space.

1. Have cracked, frayed, and damaged cords and appliances repaired at certified repair centers, or clearly label them as “damaged and electrically unsafe” and discard them.
2. Never run power cords across traffic paths or under rugs or furniture.
3. Never tack or nail an electrical cord to any surface.
4. Never use extension cords on a continuous basis. Remember that they are temporary solutions only.
5. Be careful not to overload power strips and surge suppressors. They do not provide more power, just more access to the same limited capacity of the circuit.

There are many bed sizes available in the market today. These are the twin, single, double, full, queen, king, California king, western king and Eastern king. With the many sizes to choose from, how will we know which size is the right one for us?
Twin beds are also known as single beds. They are the most common choice for children’s rooms or multi-use guest rooms. These beds are narrow and fit easily into the smallest bedroom. Often twin beds have trundles underneath to accommodate a sleep-over or second guest. Twin beds are used for bunk beds too. Twin beds have overall dimensions of 39″ wide and 75″ long. Due to the twin beds’ small size, it will fit easily into small bedrooms. Twin sheets are the least costly of all sheet sizes and are available in lots of patterns. It’s easy to make a twin bed. The disadvantage is that it is too short for many adults.
